I was born in Sherman, Texas in 1972. I lived most of my life in Katy, Texas.
I graduated from Katy High School in 1990 where I played on a volleyball team that went to state my senior year.
I continued my education/ athletic adventure at San Jacinto Junior College from 1990-1992 on a volleyball scholarship. I accomplished one goal by graduating in 1992 with an Associates of Arts Degree in Elementary Education.
I then went onto Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to try and continue playing but due to an injury I came back home. I finished at the University of Houston in Houston where I graduated in 1995 with Bachelor of Science Degree in All-Level Kinesiology.
I married an Edna boy, Billy Storz in 1995.
We moved to the Austin/Pflugerville area where I taught at Canyon Vista Middle School for Round Rock ISD from 1996-2002.
I also coached club volleyball from 1992-2002 for Bay Area, Westside (Houston),Cedar Park and Austin Juniors.
In 2002 we had a beautiful baby boy, Andrew Remington, who is the joy of our life.
After he was born we decided to move to Edna in 2002 to be closer to family. That is when I started teaching at Industrial ISD. My teaching career at IISD started with teaching Physical Education and coaching. I have coached varsity volleyball and track, and junior high girls basketball/volleyball. In 2007 I decided to make a change to 1st grade and have enjoyed it tremendously.
