The community members, parents, staff and students of the Industrial Independent School District are proud of their school district. The District has a clear mission of what we want our youth to experience through a uniform curriculum that will prepare them to be a contributing, responsible member of an ever changing society.
The District currently serves an area of three hundred square miles. It encompasses the communities of Vanderbilt, Lolita, Inez, Francitas, La Salle, and La Ward. The areas economy includes agriculture, industry, cattle, oil and gas production.
The District’s enrollment is 1153 students. We have a senior high school, a junior high school, and two elementary schools. Industrial High School, Industrial Junior High School, and Industrial Elementary East are located in Vanderbilt, TX. Industrial Elementary West is located in Inez, TX.
Industrial is rich in tradition and human resources and delights in the fact that the District has high goals for the education of all students.
The school system offers a well-balanced curriculum. The elementary program serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade five, the junior high serves students in grades six through eight, and the high school grades nine through twelve. Our program focuses on the mastery of basic skills and offers a variety of special courses and instructional arrangements to meet every student's needs.
