The real issue is not talent as an independent element, but talent in relationship to will, desire, and persistence. Talent without these things vanishes and even modest talent with those characteristics grows.

Our theme this year has been to develop a "Legacy of Relationships" with students, parents, and the entire community.  To kick off the year we had Diane Juroske, Gary Thedford, and Bobby Nicholson speak to the faculty on that topic.  Those three have been role models to all of us.
Bobby Nicholson was an amazing professional mentor to me.  We were all saddened by his death on Sunday, February 19th.  His memory will live on.  Bobby had a way of inspiring confidence like no other person I have ever known.  His legacy is in the lives of his students and co-workers.
The best way we can honor Bobby is to inspire and motivate the children we care for each day at Industrial ISD.  He loved this place, but more importantly, he loved all of us.
