Hello everyone! My name is Heather Creamer and I am very excited for another year as a Cobra! I grew up in Houston and graduated from Saint Pius X High School in 1996. From there, I attended The University of Texas in Austin and after 4 years transferred to Texas A&M University in College Station where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture in 2002. I returned to school and received my Education degree from Angelo State University in 2005.
I began my teaching career at the Texas Tech University Outdoor School located in Junction, TX. I taught hands on science to fifth graders across Texas using the beautiful Hill Country campus as our classroom. After 3 years, I moved on to Sealy High School and taught a variety of sciences there. Now, I enjoy teaching Science to fifth graders here at IEE.
I am married to Ben Creamer and we have 3 amazing daughters and one adorable little boy. Dorothy, Madison, Elizabeth and Nathan keep me busy! We live in La Salle and I absolutely treasure all the time I spend with my family! We spend lots of time outdoors - fishing, gardening, time at the beach or simply hanging out.
I would like to thank you for sharing the opportunity for me to teach your children this year. I look forward to this year and can't wait to watch all of our students blossom.
