I graduated from Hallettsville High School.  I attended Corpus Christi State University which then became Texas A&M Corpus and received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Mathematics.  I married Paul Darilek and have 3 children.  I have taught many different classes of mathematics in the following schools:  Rockport Junior High, Pettus High School, Poth High School, Hallettsville High School, and Stockdale High School.
